A special variant of popular steel bars are stainless flat bars. They are one of many metallurgical products with an extremely wide range of applications. They usually constitute elements of various types of building structures, fences. Often, they are also chosen by people involved in artistic blacksmithing. You can also create trusses from them, much stronger than the equivalents from traditional rods.
The products in our offer are susceptible to various kinds of processing, which are using the basic power tools you can freely cut and connect. In our company, we use two methods of sheet metal production, stainless steel. It is a drawing and hot rolling.
After making the plates, we transfer them to the guillotine and cut the appropriate elements. The first of these forms makes the surface of the element shiny and smooth. This is due to the removal of any scale before forming.
In the case of hot rolling, a slightly porous surface with sharp edges is formed. Often, hot-rolled elements are the first step before further processing.
Depending on your needs, we recommend flat bars made of ferritic, acid-resistant or austenitic stainless steel. The first one has a relatively low chromium content, therefore it is not recommended for use in environments exposed to regular water. Austenitic and acid resistant steel, on the other hand, is considered to be a highly resistant to corrosion (it depends on the content of alloy additives, e.g. chromium or molybdenum). We took care to provide our clients with only the highest quality solutions, distinguished by their exceptional durability and precision. Therefore, by choosing our products, you are sure of their resistance to damage and corrosion. In case of any doubts, please contact us. We are happy to answer all your questions and help you choose the best solution.
